Everybody should try to play the Legendary Slayer playlist as much as they can when it comes out.
This way, we can show 343i how much we love classic Halo settings and hopefully they will be the default setting for the upcoming Halo title.

I haven’t touched Halo 4 in months. Next month I’ll be renewing my gold and purchasing the new pack. Between ODST and Legendary Slayer, I think I’ll finally start playing again!

If only they could remove sprint like in lightning flag.
Otherwise, I’m fine with all other settings, even if its just AR starts.
I’ll play it. I’d like to see another voting variant that is BR or DMR start loadouts and no sprint.
It would be interesting to see a legendary playlist with two or three voting variants and which would be the most popular within that.
I also want a “Team BRs” or even a “Team DMRs” variant.
If this playlist’s population is high it will greatly hint 343 as to wich direction to stir the Halo Ship for the remainder of H4 and the next Halo game.
Not to mention they’ll pay much attention to it, and make it better if necessary.
We’ll need to keep the population healthy.

Only if they also give me a pistol. AR is not at all reliable with a connection that isn’t close enough to perfect, and has the same host advantage as 3’s BR (totally amazing in that player’s hands if he can even slightly aim). Do not like the sound of that at all, to be quite honest.
Let’s all play legendary slayer but pledge to play without ever sprinting.

Or once when Legendary Slayer goes live, we all spam the crap out of the Legendary Slayer Feedback Thread about no sprinting.
I am actually disappointed with Legendary Slayer and I can’t honestly see its population surpassing 1000 in its first week. After that week it will likely get stale just as Infinity Slayer did at launch due to a lack of good maps.
What I am most disappointed about however is how 343 told us this was going to be a classic styled playlist however the only thing classic about it is the AR starts (which allot of people don’t like anyway) and Shutout. Where are my classic remakes? Why is sprint enabled? Why is descoping still not here? Why must I play on Solace?..
I have lots of respect for 343 however I think they have really let me down on this one. This playlist doesn’t look exciting nor should it have taken 3 months to make. I was really hyped for this playlist but can see it dying down similar to how Slayer Pro did at launch.

well I’m not a big fan of sprint still in it. But I will try to play it as much as I can.
I still hope sprint will be disabled and that there are br starts. That’s the true classic feeling we need 
I’m happy they are giving this playlist to the community, it does show someone is listening. And to play it on maps that 343 created for Halo 4 is actually a big “well, duh”… 
Just remember, you can go to temporary history and save the game type to use in customs. I’ve seen some rockin’ remakes out there, as well as spectacular fresh takes in Forge Island.
I’m feeling a little bit of hope, just tired of having to fight so hard to have them make Mom want to spend her money 
well, we waited 8 months just to be able to enjoy a true halo experience. yet we won’t have a team BRs game type, sprint disabled (343 is capable, so why the -Yoink- not?), or a secondary weapon (magnum please. although not as serious an issue.)
I will definitely play it, but I fear due to the lack of perfection of the playlist (no BRs game type & sprint enabled), that the population wont be as high as it could be.
