My apologies if this has been brought up before but i scrolled several pages down the forums and found nothing. When Halo Wars 2 was coming out way back when i remember it being a big title for xbox play anywhere. is this still the case? is the game still eligible for play anywhere? come to think of it … does play anywhere even still exist? if there’s an existing thread that covers these questions you can just link it.
Halo Wars 2 is a play anywhere title. Your game information should be saved across the PC and Xbox. Additionally it also supports crossplay.

Play anywhere only applies to select digital games. It does not work for physical games.
ok, thank you friend.
I’m gonna be honest, reading that title, I thought you were about to suggest that Halo Wars 2 come to the Switch!
Which I wouldn’t mind by the way!
And yes I know Halo is an Xbox IP, yet I could’ve never guessed Dark Souls would make it there either.

Big difference between Dark Souls and Halo is that Halo is owned by Microsoft, Dark Souls isn’t. So Microsoft would have to allow their IP to be on a different console for that to work.
