So i pre-ordered halo 5 and was told i could download it a week early,I have friends who did the same however when i got on today i saw they were playing already (keep in mind these friends live in Australia so at the time of this post it is the 20th) anyone know how this is possible.

In Australia they are giving a full physical copy of the game with the LCE and console version because the internet out there is -Yoink- for trying to download the digital version. They were supposed to hold them until the 27th due to this. Looks like retailers said -Yoink- it and broke street date.

haha, no it isn’t. If that were true I would have a LCE by now, cause disc master race.

Ask them and post their answer here. This shouldn’t be possible.
Some higher profile community members such as greenskull got promotional copies of the game early for review purposes, its possible that a member of the community is Australian.
As I write this it is only 11:34pm on the 19th of October, so its not even the 20th yet (I live in Australia)
The H5 console comes out here tomorrow all other copies of the game are held unitl the 27th
Retailers here haven’t broken street date, if they had then we would have been selling copies of H5 at work today (I work for EB games) as it stands we don’t even have our copies of H5 in store yet to sell
