Recently i wondered if changing my location on my Xbox would allow me to play the game early, i did a time zone conversion then changed my settings to Australia, and if this works i will have access to the game 8 hrs early (normally would release at 11pm CST for me, but would be about 3pm for Australia). Im just putting this out there so that anyone who wants to try this knows that its out there even if it isn’t proven to work (or is it? let me know if you have done this, this attempt would be my first time) Anyhow ill just shut up now and leave instructions for the newbs on how to do it, also it’ll only work with digital, (unless you fly to Australia to buy it, then come back and install )
From the Home screen, Press the menu button (3 horizontal lines)>Navigate down to settings>Go to System (picture of xb1)>Go to location>Change your location to Australia and your language back to English (US) or whatever applies for you after you restart your Xbox

I admire the attempt but the game will release at the same time for everyone. Midnight et for me, 9pm pt west coast, 7pm hawaii, etc. Changing the timezone wont accomplish much

Wrong, it will release at midnight; your local time zone. MP servers will MORE THAN LIKELY! Go live at 12am PST however.

Nah, the servers will already be up when the game unlocks at 12:00am EST / 9:00pm PST. They wouldn’t make people in the U.S. wait 3 hours after the game releases to play MP.
