Okay I know that playing as an elite didn’t make up for a lot of multiplayer, but that ruins a lot of the video ideas I had for forge and wanting to make them on halo 4. Not to mention, I really liked the elites. I miss being able to play custom games of Spartan vs Elite and unfortunately have to go back to reach to experience this. This isn’t about whether or not elites are awesome or not. This is about why did 343 take this option out, even in custom?

a lot of people did yes. i personally didnt like playing as them. but i saw the draw.
invasion worked well because it wass spartans V. Elites. id be happy with that, and an elite only gametype would be welcomed. but no regular gametypes mixing the species.
If they have a model for flood then they could at least put in covy slayer or invasion.

Nah, Elites were always WAY cooler than Spartans were. Sucks that they took em out.

In order to prepare to fight the storm covenant, the Arbiter who is allied to humanity, assist the spartans by sending in troops to the infinity to help with training against Covenant tactics and soldiers.

for that to work there would have to be elites on the infinity. and unless im missing something, there arent any.

He probably just was responding to OP rather than contributing to what was already going.
Yeah, I think since they’re pushing MM as a part of their storyline, and trying to give meat to MM’s background, they cut elites. But if that’s the case, WTFlood are the…flood… doing on the infinity??? And even if you want to say they are just fake suits to simulate fighting flood, why?

First of, he was replying to my comment, not to the op.
second, cutting away elites is cheap, there are many ways you could add them, and it would make more sense since the spartans are training to fight the Storm Covenant, where they will fight elites. It would make sense to put the in the simulator, be it digitally or the way i described

Finally! Someone on these forums who agrees!
I just want 343 to really add elites. Be it an expansion or a patch. To be playable. Ignoring a portion of the community that favored elites is just so blatantly evil i cant even imagine why they would do that. Story justified or not.
