So I’ve normally got about a mil Req Points stashed away for such an occasion, but how thrilled am I about these “next tier” packs? Maybe I’m unlucky and the rest of you have faired better, however I have compared the Plat to the Gold and the Plat just doesn’t add up? The Gold seems to drop the better weaponry and vehicles while also being half the cost of the Platinum. Please feel free to share your comments down below about your first impressions on these new packs. I for one, feel it’s an over glorified Gold Pack worth more than what it should be. Perhaps 12k req points would be the better price for them. Or at least Ultra Rare tier and above.

Depends on when you stopped playing. The last content drop (new REQs) came with Monitors Bounty in December 2016. Since then we haven’t had any new REQs, but this Platinum pack is just a promotional pack which still only give Ultra Rares/Legendaries (like a Gold Pack) but with a higher probability of getting more valuable/rarer REQs.
If you have not opened everything, then yes it would give you a better chance of getting rare and better. But if you opened everything, then it is a matter of what you would like. There is another thread on this. PLATINUM REQ PACKS

I love the Platinum req packs. I was getting tried of getting crap in gold packs. These platinum packs are about quality… Not quantity. Some people people prefer to eat at McDonald’s where you get a lot of food for little and some prefer a nice restaurant where you get actually good food but it cost more.
I opened 2 and wasn’t impressed. Like previously states, if you are grinding gold and want the better unlocks, go for it. I personally will give it a 3rd go and then go back to only needimg 4k rp to get a pack
I am unlocking Permanent reqs - I get 4 of those with 2 gold cards (20k points), while I would only get 3 for the same price. Who thought this one up? Why would someone spend more to get less?!

Because they give better quality stuff. You don’t get common junk in your pack.

I opened like ten of them and loved all the legendary and ultra rare boost I got not to mention all the hannible mantis, dying stars, and stuff like that. I hope these are permanent.
I have everything unlocked, just opened 3 platinum and 3 golds, for me the golds were way better. Much cheaper too. Maybe its worth it if you don’t have everything unlocked yet?

That’s way better stuff than I got. Out of the three I just opened I got 1 legendary rp boost and a CE pistol, everything else was ultra rare.

This was stated as the main point. It offers up to 3 permanent Rare/Ultra Rare/Legendary unlocks. You don’t get anything less than Rare in these packs unlike with Gold packs you get a lot of Common and Uncommon junk as well.

Well at the end of the day it’s still RNG so not every pack will be stacked. But they are still better than gold packs IMO.

Okay, I sell all Warzone stuff anyway. So from the perspective of permanent unlocks, these plat packs have nothing to offer me.
