Wasn’t able to play Halo 5 when Platinum packs were available. I played recently, no platinum. Are the coming back? How many REQ pointes were/are they?
They where 20k and refunded 9k if you have everything unlocked. Yeah I loved them as well. Sure higher cost but giving only good stuff made them worth it IMO. Don’t know if they will ever be available again. But they give them out for free on rare occasion during the HCS events with the free gold pack codes. So with HCS world’s coming up you maybe able to get a few that way.
Hopefully they come back and stay back
Been waiting a long time, hope they will come back, but I don’t think that will happen.

There’s usually a thread of all the codes from HCS streams too so you don’t even have to watch as long as you have that thread up.

Yeah I have started them a couple of times depending on my work schedule and if I can actually watch.
The platinum packs are not worth the points they are pretty much just a more expensive gold pack.

I disagree. I think they are more than worth it for those who have everything unlocked. Mainly for the guaranteed Legendary boosts.

If anything, you’re much better off gifting a Platinum Pack to a friend who is starting out in the game. It’s a much better investment. After all, who doesn’t love giving gifts?

Eh, maybe a few, but hey I need those boosts! XP’s are few in the land of Arena.
I just don’t see why they have been absent for so long. Why make them if they are only around one time to buy, which was months and months ago, and now only as a “gift” from 343 every so often? Seems like a waste to me.

I think they should come back, eben though they were expensive they gave you really good stuff

Just watch the Halo Pro Tournaments, they give out codes and you get them free. All I get from them is Arena Legendary XP boosts.
There’s a big Halo tournament next weekend so I’m sure they’ll be giving out a few platinum packs on the stream.
Hope they give some away this weekend. Maybe I’m not, I don’t know. That’s how they “hook” us, with fake virtual packs…

Just like how the plantinum packs & memories of reach packs were here again these past weeks, are they going to do the same with the other packs that were released & still do it for another year? It’s just on my kind & I would gladly ask of someone to answer my question.
