Now that there will be no more HCS tournaments there will be no access at all to these packs. I know some complained about the packs, I guess they felt they weren’t worth it. But I think they were. Platinum packs are about quality not quantity. Platinum packs always gave good stuff, especially boost. I hate opening gold packs and getting common junk in them. At least with platinum you always get rare or higher stuff. I had saved some platinum packs I was going to try and gift but when I realized they are more likely the last ones I will have I went ahead and opened them. Please bring the Platinum packs back, even if it’s limited times like on weekends or something.
I agree, would be a small, easily doable thing to keep people playing. I can’t imagine they’re getting much real money anymore for packs, so at this point it’s just trying to maintain population.

Platinum packs were available for points as well just like gold packs.

I just meant ditch the bulk packs for money and add platinum packs.

I don’t see them doing that but I can’t think of any reason why platinum packs can’t be made available again.
Totally agree. If we’re getting WZ and arena boost packs for limited time periods why not do the same with Plat packs.

I agree. Over the weekend I got the locus helmet among other legendary REQs. Plus several stances, emblems, skins, and the flipping H2 BR! The platinum packs give you in one what you couldn’t get out of 20 gold packs.
I liked them primarily because I could purchase them with my saved REQ points and then gift them to my daughter’s profile so she has more valuable REQs for Warzone Firefight and customization options.
Maybe make them 20K REQ points or something.

They were 20k in req points when they were available. They only refunded 9k if you had everything unlocked. I think they should have refunded 12k. I just hope they become available again at some point.

I doubt they will, assuming that most of their attention will be to MCC after the last HCS tournament for Halo 5

I doubt that… Probably most attention will be on infinite and that Grassroots program. But being that Platinum packs have been available before it can’t be that hard to add them back.
Would be nice it’s so hard to get enough arena boosts these days as warzone isn’t as much fun as it used to be with low population etc and no more wz assault a lot of people have been in arena and by fiesta and we need boosts for them

Yea it’s too bad they don’t give you back any points it makes the 20k seem pretty steep. Maybe if they lowered the cost a bit to 15k or something.

Eh not really to me because you can easily spend more than 20k in points and not get three legendary boost not to mention the better reqs. But yeah it’s kinda steep. As happy as I am to see them there matched composer is live in MCC so I will probably be playing it for awhile now
