Does anyone know what counts as a Platinum medal?
no i dont but i was wondering this myself.
im guessing its the hardest medals to get, like big muti kills and perfections.
It has to be hard but I have 1. I wanted to know what is was for lol.
Yea, I was wondering the same thing. It’s driving me nuts. What do they mean? I have 10 but I have no idea how i got them… I asked on a few other forums but got no response

How do you even know how many you have? Also, I got my first perfection on Saturday and yet there is no medal for it now!? I loved the perfection medal!
How do you know how many you have? I assume they may be the same as Legendary Medals from Reach, however I have no clue. Any light shed on this would be nice.
go to halo.xbox.com and on the right side click see your stats (if you are logged in).
click on the second tab on the left (war games) and on the right side you will see about 4 faded tabs click on any of these they are all on the same pane and just scroll down and up to view the certain tabs…
in the “bests” section it should show you your mosts in a day and best evers in everything…
e.g. for me, most kills : 36
however, if you go below that to most medals by teir in a day it will rack them up
e.g. for me, 5 platinum on 11/07/2012 (11th November for us British folks)
I think I may have figured out the system while typing this and looking at my medals…
Ok so look at any old medal, how many “spikes” does it have coming out in its star shape, I have a gravemind and ball hog medals and they are the ones i have found with the most spikes which is 7 so I’m guessing a medal with 7 spikes that looks goldish may be a platinum but then why is it gold? Also it says I have 5 platinum in 1 day alone and can only find 2 or 3 medals like this with a count of 1 for each

gotten 3 perfections so far and nothing coming up, I also had 2 killtrocities in a game of big team slayer and only my old killtrocity from infinity slayer is coming up
people have been having trouble having their campaign stats recorded too… like there are people who have completed legendary solo and have recieved nothing as it isn’t recording stuff correct.

Is onyx above platinum? Because I have 1 onyx medal
Onyx is above Platinum, I have one of those and I don’t know what it is (Magic Hands?).
And I went 25-0 in a game and didn’t get progress towards the Perfection commendation.

Ya I think it must be Magic hands. I have one of those too.
I’ve got one too. I think its for a Skyjack. The only other single medal I’ve got is a Rocket Kill.
Anyone figured it out?
Maybe someone at 343 or Achievement Hunter’ll know?
My stats show that I got 21 Platinum in one day…would love to know what counts as Platinum, Gold, Silver etc.

was looking it up cause i have one platinum medal, and since i’m a pretty mediocre player I was curious. I think i figured it out tho: each medal award points, either 5-10-15-25(e.g.: inconceivable, airssassination) and 50 (e.g.: unfrigginbelievable, killionaire)
And since i accidently got an airssassination once, i believe that the classification is based on the amout of points… (15=gold, 25=platinum and 50=onyx)
