I got placed plat in team Arena (solo searcher) and i get lit up non stop against plats. I have been playing to get out of plat and i swear its impossible. Platinum gives you the most un even teams. Once you get into diamond i feel like it gets easier since people start playing more like a team.
I all to often get teamed up with people who have a negative K/D. So this is the main reason for me I believe. I too am a solo searcher I’d say most of the people who get into onyx have a team or pool of people who they regularly team up with.
Platinum seems like the gateway rank it’s right in the middle so you are going to see good and crusty players best way out is to tag a team of plats so that you don’t match high onyx or diamonds on the high end of plat
Once you get to diamond it is easier because half the time you receive a godly onyx player on your team. In Plat you need to be that player.

Theres plenty of mid to high diamonds who can beat Onyx. Diamonds are good they just dont team shot as much.

The difference between plat and diamond is essentially the difference between solo and team play
Yeah I have the exact same issue. I’m a solo player too.
i think people in new accounts get placed plat right off the bat because i play a lot of boosters or people on second accounts in Platinum.
I wouldnt go in solo, its the hardest thing to get ranked higher because random team mates are special.

I was just about to say all the second accounts are in plat usually so the teams are extremely uneven most of the time.
What is it with gold players always being AFK? Or just teamkillers
If I tried with a team instead of line wolf I’d pry be swat plat
i find it pretty easy to get outta, but thats just my personal opinion

Literally every game theres at least one booster on the other team.

Being platinum blows; you’re at just the right spot to be matching against diamond and onyx while having golds and below on your team. It’s suffering.
The problem with plat is its right in the middle, so occasionally you’ll verse onyx’s who went in with their plat friend.
