Lately I have noticed my plasma grenades bouncing off of some people and vehicles. What gives. One game I solely tried to stick this ghost over and over and my grenades would just bounce off him. They were definitely plasmas and not frags. A new hack? A perk I am not aware of? Anyone else seen this?

We must not be playing the same game, also it is only certain people this happens with. But oh no our experiences with this game must coincide exactly or I must be lying right. Just because you have not encountered or noticed this it must not exist.

Sometimes they bounce off people. Sometimes they attract to people like magnets.
I think it could be a lag thing,I have had games when I couldnt stick a hog when I was right beside the thing.
I’ve noticed this too. Sometimes they stick like attached to string. Others I’ve seen bounce. Throw one at the front of a ghost these days and they bounce off. But not the sides. Could just be an armor thing for that vehicle. Haven’t notice a difference in the other vehicles. And yeah man just ignore that guy. If he really was my age and had kids. He wouldn’t be acting like that. Unprovoked at least.
Iv yet to see it but in Halo 3, Reach and Halo 4 iv seen gamers claim they dont stick. Id say if it were to bounce off the chest then yeah theres a problem but i see so many get thrown and be to shot to hit
it all comes down to networking issues!! it makes up for about 99% of the cheating and “whining” complaints
it makes it where you shoot a dude 20 times he 2 shots ya or your grenade goes thru him and his curves to you!! halos network and the xbox live network in general needs an overhaul!!
BF3 got it right with dedicated servers
That one did not save because I rage turned off the xbox, I will have to make sure I finish the next game i encounter it in and upload it.
Aside from having experienced these myself, I’ve also experienced managing to stick people, and after seeing them run for 1 second, the explosion has no effect on them (unless you want to count getting bumped a foot into the air) and thus they don’t die and continue to fight.

It’s probably lag. I’ve noticed that stickies go right through people or they will turn a corner to stick someone if the game is too laggy.

I saw a guy with overshields do this with one of my stickies. Didn’t know if he had the best overshield ever or what. Still it’s a fairly rare issue so I don’t mind.

I had noticed this problem
Throwing of grenades has got worse in Reach they changed it, but in Halo 4 it feels like I’m throwing with a broken arm. I’ve not seen them bounce off but that might be just lag, but the blast area is nothing to plasma grenades even a stick may not get a kill.
It’s probably lag. I thrown stickies and frags through people. Might be subtle lag.
