Simply put, which one would have been fit for this game in both Campaign and MP.
I definitely miss the Plasma Rifle, it was a great companion to the P Pistol and a classic Covenant Weapon that should have never been taken out of this Universe.

I just started using it in WGames. Pretty good too use. I thought it was going to be worthless, I was wrong.
I have Been a Halo fan Ever since I first Played Halo Reach on a friends Xbox-360. I Played Halo CE when I was about 11, and Loved the Plasma Rifle as a Sniper Rifle for the Covenant. When I Played Halo 2, I loved the Brute Plasma Rifle, and found a little glitch on how to have the same weapon as your primary and secondary weapon. In ODST, I feel the weakened the Brute Plasma Rifle a bit, making it not the best weapon in the game. In Halo 3, The standard Plasma Rifle is about as strong as the MA5C, which I loved. In Halo Reach, I love how the Plasma Rifle goes from a bit weakened to its Restored Glory, and how you could Kinda Snipe with it. In Halo 4, I Hated the Storm Rifle, it doesnt really kill Spartan/Elites unless you follow up with a Melee, or a Head shot capable weapon. Now, Compare the 2. The Storm Rifle Stats made it more accurate than plasma repeater, but less power. The Plasma Rifle Stats from every Halo shows that the Plasma Rifle is more powerful and Accurate than Both Storm Rifle and Plasma Repeater. I have to say, The Plasma Rifle is the best Covenant Rifle there is so far. The Storm rifle is like a Pack-a-punched version of the Plasma Pistol. I even Prefer the Fricking Plasma Pistol over the Storm Rifle. 343 put the Storm Rifle to shame.

I find that the storm rifle looks more reasonable (space to hold that ammo) but I like them both equally
If the storm rifle is just going to be a total AR clone, but be less accurate AND have less range than the plasma rifle, give us the PR back.
It’s just taking up space at this point…
The Storm Rifle is cool but its so weak that its almost not even worth picking up, so ya Plasma Rifle is definetly better and needs to return

I liked the plasma rifle better. Maybe it’s just me but using the storm rifle did me no justice in multi-player.
I don’t understand the change at all. All the other classic weapons are there, why single out the Plasma Rifle? Storm rifle was ugly and boring and feels like a lazy reskin of the AR
In my opinion, the only way the Storm Rifle is better than the Plasma Rifle is look-wise when it comes to the Storm Rifle with the CHL (Chill) Skin. Otherwise, Plasma Rifle beats it in every other way.
The Plasma Rifle felt like an SMG whereas the Storm Rifle felt like an Assault Rifle. Personally, I like the Storm Rifle more, but whatever they have in Halo 5they better buff it because there is no point in having a weapon available if nobody wants to use it.
Storm rifle’s accuracy is bad, i prefer the plasma rifle
Storm rifle is a decent weapon if used intelligently, just remember it’s not an AR and it’s wise to pair with a pistol so you can headshot any 1shots. Storm rifle doesn’t work AT ALL in laggy games though, so I usually have to switch over to a regular precision weapon.
