Anybody find it weird that the brute plasma rifle is in the game and not the elite one? I mean the brutes arent even in the game. Its cool that we have it don’t get me wrong, but they should include all it’s varation. Isnt that obvious? Seeing that the weapon was the first weapon varation in halo.
Also as a legendary REQ, the scarab gun would be an amazing varation. So much fun and chaos.

Yes, a thousand times this. As a side note, since they’re bringing brute weapons back maybe this is indicative that the brute shot will be another weapon added in? That would be pretty cool.
Yeah I do find it strange. They will probably end up adding it. But what is weird is that the elite one will end up being rare, while the brute one was always more powerful. If they add the elite one, make it uncommon and the brute one rare.

The Brute Plasma Rifle and standard Plasma Rifle do the same damage. The standard blue variant had a lower fire rate, but took longer before overheating. The Brute Plasma Rifle has a higher fire rate, but overheats more quickly. Aside from that, the two weapons are basically identical.

The Brute PR does more damage I think… It has a higher DPS. I hope that it’s higher than the Storm Rifle

The Scarab Gun was an Easter egg in Halo 2. It used the model for the Plasma Rifle, but it fired like the Scarab’s beam. No overheat, infinite ammo, and pretty much the most powerful thing you could ever get your hands on. If it was added as a REQ, there would be some serious nerfing involved.
