I thought it would be a cool idea for a Plasma Rifle to be mythic weapon for warzone, and maybe even in arena (like the H2 BR55 and SPNKR). It would be hard to make it better than the Storm Rifle, but maybe make it longer range? Perhaps have a few variants and a legendary one. I really miss the plasma rifle so I think it would be a cool idea, Brute plasma rifle as a rare variant, one with explosive rounds for legendary maybe? Just think it would be cool. Any ideas for variants or if it would be a bad idea?
The Plasma Rifle definitely felt like it was more accurate than the Storm Rifle, it also seemed to have a slower firing rate but each plasma bolt did more damage than a Storm Rifle, it also seemed to have a spin-up effect where the longer you hold it down the faster you fire. I would enjoy a Plasma Rifle REQ, but I don’t think it’s powerful enough to earn mythic status. Maybe rare.

I dont think that we need more weapons that can kill someone in less than a second.
Maybe a normal plasma rifle a little bit weaker than the storm rifle and they should replace the storm rifle with this in arena

I don’t want a replacement. I like the storm rifle, it sucks at medium to long range and is excellent on close quarters. But the plasma rifle plays differently.
man people complain about everything. since when is the storm rifle OP? its there for everyone to use, why dont you get good with it any stop complaining? the smg is OP to everyone also, and the AR is too weak. thats how its supposed to be guys. deal with it.
and by the way the OP only said it would be hard to make it stronger than the storm rifle, he didnt say it should be stronger than the storm rifle.
that being said i didnt think id see the day when someone actually missed the plasma rifle. its TTK was so slow, the only advantage being it stunned players. mythic warzone weapon? unless its req 2 like the storm rifle i will not use it. and even then i would only use it very rarely. doesnt seem like a needed addition to this game.
point being would halo 5 really be that much better with a plasma rifle? no. storm rifle is very similar and more powerful anyway so why would you want something obsolete?
Yes I would really like to see the return of the plasma and brute plasma.

A couple things:
- It does not ‘ruin’ the game to have a map pickup weapon worth using. I’m looking at you Plasma Caster. 2. Why on earth should projectile weapons NOT have the fastest killtimes? Perfect killtimes are basically impossible.
Yes, it is slightly overpowered, but what we really need to balance it out is for weapons that are supposed to kill instantly to actually kill instantly. I shouldn’t have to worry about a Storm Rifle if I’m carrying a Scattershot.

i would love this, but it should also have rare version.
I think an upgraded plasma rifle that has technology from shield world sentinels would be great. It would fire like a sentinel beam.
I think it would be awesome to get that plasma rifle back.
Plasma rifle should come back as an uncommon with a mythic variant
The Plasma Rifle should be a added on weapon because I know how many people miss the old fashion Plasma Rifle. It would be cool to see it comeback, I have to admit, but it would take them awhile to make it & they would have to put it into an update like they did with the Halo 2 battle rifle.
I wish that that made it like in halo ce, where it would actually stun you and prevent you from moving/ turning quick enough. So you could move in, get behind them, and bash them I nthe back for assassinations 
Yessss this would be awesome!! We got AR and SMG, why not Storm Rifle and Plasma Rifle? It should have come back at the beggining of the game, making it the weapon of the Swords of Sanghelios
I was expecting to see the plasma rifle in this game due to visting Sanghelios, but no sign of it any where. Disappointing…
I wouldn’t mind having it brought back like the H2 BR.
