I know this is maybe too late but fix the PR D;
In the beta this weapon was beast, it melted the hertics into vapour and led the way to the Great Journey, wort wort wort.
But now it doesn’t do as much damage as it used to. The ar out classes it everytime (it was the other way round in the beta) And it heats up too fast for me to get the final blows on my enemy and vice versa.
Yup. It got nerfed along with the magnum and plasma launcher. Kinda lame. All those weapons were fun to use in the beta.

Yeah, with enough practice anyone can be good with any weapon they choose but I still think this weapon sucks. Underpowered and a 5-second delay when it overheats makes for a -Yoink- weapon. The damn plasma pistol kills faster than that gun.
And if you check out this guys K/D he died many unnecessary deaths because of this playstyle. Proof enough that this weapon sucks in the retail version.
