Personally I prefer the Magnum, though it is fun to Charge up the plasma Pistol and EMP an Enemy’s vehicle :3.
Magnum is good because you can aim to middle distance, like a sniper.Oh, and the plasma pistol is very funny, but I prefer the magnum

They both have practical uses in Halo 4. The plasma pistol is good if you’re going to ‘spider’ in close quarters to charge it up, knock out an enemy’s shields and then punch them. It obviously is also good at EMPing vehicles. The magnum is good for medium to long range combat, and is good for close range if you have cookies, I mean grenades. Knock out their shield with a grenade and headshot for the kill, or punch their shields out and headshot for the kill. For me, the magnum is also a better alternative to the BR since that gun never likes to work for me.
So they’re both evenly good in my book, so I really can’t vote for which is better or which one I favor.
