Plasma pistol unbalanced secondary?

First of all this isnt supposed to be a hate thread, im a big halo 4 supporter but this is a important subject.
The problem i have here is the plasma pistol as a spawn weapon, everybody will be able to spawn with the noob combo and the vehicles wont stand a chance with the enemy team full of
plasma pistols, since people are also able to spawn with plasma grenades they will all be able to EMP you and Throw PG’s at you giving you no chance to fight back in a vehicle.
what i am asking is that the plasma pistol should be removed from the loadout and be used as a map ordinance instead.

I remember them saying they were going to increase the damage, reduce the rate and remove the secondary function.

still wondering why 343 removed the dino’s.

PP was already rebalanced /nerf compare to other game last I heard.

I hope to God they don’t throw the mp plasma pistol into campaign unchanged.

Campaign:

-has no loadouts
-has no dual wielding

There is no reason to throw in sidearms into the campaign. Do I have to bring up Sierra 117’s pathetic starting weapons?

Anyways, I don’t want the PP to have an OP homing but I don’t want it to suck either.

My Fears

PP sounds terrible as a secondary – vehicle game play is dead

And adding in stickies – also sounds bad – vehicle game play again will suffer

Both should be on map only

Used it at RTX the tracking is badly nerfed. In other words you either have to point blank with it or be good at leading the charged shot. theres no tracking against vehicles like always.

im not really worried about the PP.
