Anyone want to party up to complete the most annoying weapon commendation? The only party rule is that you have to stick with using plasma pistol or melee attacks. If anyone breaks the rule, we boot them out of the party. Regicide seems a good fit - small maps, small number of players.

If this is over war games online multiplayer, please refrain from boosting as it will force others to report you and your friends from boosting.

It is over matchmaking and it would be full party ‘boosting’ which has never been a problem in Reach or H4. Partial party boosting is frowned upon.
I don’t consider this boosting if everyone plays to win but just sticks to one weapon - plasma pistol vs DMR gets old quickly.
Since you can bring multiple players into FFA playlist, it doesn’t boosting. After all, they are just playing normally while only using plasma pistols. That’s all.
I think it’s much better to go out an earn your accomplishments. Boosting leads to hollow victories.

I’m not interested in getting commendations because they become pointless when the new xbox comes out, but I’d just like to say that you are right.
The plasma pistol wasn’t that hard to master. I did it by myself just going into Regicide (you can use FFA as well now that it’s got it’s own playlist). I’ve had games where I won the match with 20 PP kills. There’s a game in my file share where I win with 16 PP kills.

Yep, Regicide is the best playlist for it. It’s not a fun grind though which was why I started this thread, thinking of the fun slapfights in GoldenEye 007. Oh, yeah and also because I’m a huge, stonking Cheater McCheatypants who refuses to Earn It.

BTW I would join maybe, but I don’t think, I’ll fit in, because I’m usually shooting the people with the AR or Storm Rifle before switching to the PP and zap them. Playing PP only would be a bit boring…

First of all, it’s not boosting. It’s grinding. Second of all, if there’s no randoms, there will be NO reporting. You don’t see bans handed out if everyone in a game uses just the DMR. You can’t be penalized for choosing to use a certain weapon. That weapon just happens to be the PP in this case.

Noahballs and SolidScrafty: Thanks for replying. I’ll be online during the evenings (PDT) this week if you want to send me a friend request. Ideally we would get six people for a full regicide party but we can see what happens.
BTW, I usually equip Dexterity with the plasma pistol. This and pacing the shots seems to make it easier to get kills.
