Plasma pistol charge

Does the charge on the plasma pistol still work in Halo 5? If so, how do you trigger it? Holding the trigger just fires a quick shot.

So far I’ve tried holding RT, holding RT while in ADS, holding reload while holding trigger, holding RT and clicking the sticks while holding, probably any other obvious button combination you can think of.

Not a big deal if it’s gone, as I don’t use it very often, just curious.

This is in campaign, not tested in MP

Never mind, figured it out. Hair trigger locks on the elite controller mean you can’t pull the trigger far enough, unless you modify the sensitivity settings.
