With last Balance Plasma Pistol is very good and very Balance.
But is unfair that it can delete OverShield and Normal Shield with a complete charge.
For me it should remove only Overshield, or maybe it remove All Overshield and 50% Normal Shield too.
Now is to strong against Overshield and it need a Balance.

Agreed, the plasma weapons have never been so outclassed now that Shock has been added. The PP’s only gimmick now is deleting shields, nerfing that would be worse than having to avoid PP wielders to maintain Overshield. Giving splash damage to the plasma weapons (like with the Ravager) would do a lot. Canonically, plasma bolts have always had heat and plasma splashes that bloom on impact and affect the surrounding area, making each bolt have a small “pop” like a balloon would give them a new niche.

Dear lord dont take away the noob combo, the plasma pistol x BR combo is an absolute life saver in campaign and multiplayer.
Also the amount of grief you get from new players calling you a cheat when you know the weapons is unbelievable.

The Plasma pistol literally have one/2 spawns depending on the mode or map you’re playing. I’d say it would suck that whoever grabbed the pistol literally sets themselves up to die just to delete a shield.
fairly sure changes made to the multiplayer sandbox isn’t reflected in the campaign as they are both separate, but I could be wrong here
If anything, Overshield should be scaled down to it’s pre-buff state, at least in 4v4, Plasma Pistol is pretty much the only reliable counter to it.
Simple put, no it shouldn’t be nerfed.
