Finished a good amount of my weapon commendations but having a hard time with this new caster. I find myself trying to use it alot like the concussion rifle from Reach which is obviously a huge mistake. Often find myself switching to a br to finish off the kill BC I can only manage to pop sheilds after spaming it. The charge tracking seems a bit weak unless it’s on an unsuspecting vehicle which again weakens vehicles more than kills. Two charges on a ghost and 3 to 4 for ultras. Anyone out there having better luck? I suspect it’requires more practice or is it actually just under powered. Also the white scare really leaves alot to be desired I feel. Cool weapon though.
I dont find it useful being an Arena player. Its ok in situations but its few and far between. If your on the other team I hope you grab it because its easily countered with an AR or SMG. I have not seen anyone use it really well yet, either. The Caster is only good at medium range.
Balanced for me really. I’ve only used it on the rig, nvr or rarely use it on the map Truth
I think it’s balanced. It’s the go-to weapon when it comes to room clearing!
