After playing the first preliminary 10 matches to rank in slayer, I ended up ranking Platinum 6. I’ve heard that your initial rank is determined primarily on your individual skill compared to your team and the other team you’re playing. Figuring that I ended with a 2.0 k/D after the 10 games and played mainly against platinum, diamond, and onyx players, I would have thought that I would have ranked higher than what I got. Just curious how other people did and if they felt like it was a fair rank based on how they played?
