Im curious to see if people really do care about the placement of the reticule as much as I do.
In past games, the reticule was horizontally centered, put vertically it was a bit lower.
I don’t know why, but I really like that, as well I thought that it gave just a little bit of personality to the game. Like as if it was a part of halo.
Which one do you prefer?
Complete center or lower like previous halo games?
As long as MCC on pc has a more adjustable sensitivity then the clunky controls on the joy stickss, I don’t care where it’s centred because my reticule will always be on the players head
I guess in the center is the most normal, but everything depends on how the controls feel, I hope everything goes well and finds many errors or bugs :v
I’ve never had an issue one way or the other. Frankly, even being aware of it, I never think about it apart from when people bring it up on the forums. With that said, I think the justification for a lowered reticle is valid, so I believe it might probably be the more useful position for anyone without a strong preference. However, I see the reticle position as a matter of preference more than anything, so if I was asked I’d say players should be able to adjust their reticle placement.
I never noticed it either, but I’m not much of a competitive player who would care a whole lot about this sort of thing. That being said, perhaps a lower reticle would allow for the player to see more of the sky box, which is usually one heck of a sight in Halo games.
