Is this achievement glitched or something? I have only bought the map pack (not the armor and weapon skins etc.) and have been trying to get this achievement for like 6 or 7 games. I have been standing still for two minutes doing nothing, crouching for two minutes doing nothing, camped at the same time as slaying for two minutes. All of these but one have been done on the original maps in matchmaking.

Is the achievement possible to get on the original maps from halo 4’s launch and how did you get it? Is it glitched in any way?

The Achievement is apparently very picky on where and when it counts you as “camping.” I got it by sitting on one of the turrets on Exile.

Try to put the controller down, or turn it off, no button or stick input at all for a full minute.

I believe the achievement counts crouching as an action, therefore preventing you from getting the achievement. Try just standing there perfectly still, and giving no form of input into the game.

I was playing Dominion on Exile - crouched on the ramp in Charlie Base guarding the terminal.

I got this first time on my main account. I got it on Ragnarok and all I did was crouch up in the cliffs at the side of the enemies’ base near the ocean (forget whether its blue base or red base). It popped up after just over a minute of crouching and doing nothing. Maybe it works better if you camp near the enemy base?

Try getting a kill first and then camping for a minute (in the same life).

I did exactly this.

In the future, I would like challenging achievements, rather than frustrating or fordalulz achievements.

I got it on my 8th try on CTF on Longbow. I just put my controller on my desk directly from the start of the game and got it after about a minute.

This achievement popped for me during a CTF match on Longbow. I was crouched in the center cave near the Railgun spawn while taking a phone call. It’s likely that you have to have earned a few points in the game beforehand or be a bit ambitious as to where exactly you choose to camp for those 60 seconds.

I haven’t really been idle in-game since the new achievements were dropped in, so I suppose I was lucky in getting it on the first attempt.

It is a bit glitched. I believe it has a bit of a delay of 15 seconds, so I am a bit confused at 2 minutes. Anyways, it popped up for me in CTF match in Ragnarok. I was aware it was an achievement, so as soon as the game started, I entered my base (red team) near the Sniper Rifle spawn and crouched in one of the corners. Don’t turn off your controller, as that negates the effect of camping, and requires you be alert, while staying still. The achievement should pop-up. I don’t think you need to get a kill.

I don’t think he was joking. The acheivement DID promote unnecessary camping for a full minute. As funny as it is, it has a bad moral for the kiddies playing the game.

Too much work. I’d say just press the start button to pause the game.

Dead serious, that Achievement is a real piece of -Yoink- and 343i should have company wide facepalms for thinking it was a smart idea.
