I don’t understand why this achievement won’t unlock for me. I will camp in one spot for 60 seconds, heck, I’ve sat still and done nothing for up to 2 minutes. Why isn’t it unlocking?
Hide and disconnect your controller for over a minute (to be safe) turn it back on and it should pop, worked for me.

Just did this and it worked for me. Also for the Survivor one you need to do it all in one life
I ran back behind the base on pit sat for over a minute didn’t pop up -.-
I just crouched in a base and put my controller down for a minute and bleep bloop.

I too, tried finding a hiding spot and camping it out to no avail. Next match, right at the outset, I didn’t move from spawn at all. No moving, no looking around, no touching of the controller at all. After about a minute and ten seconds, it popped.
I really have to ask, why is this an achievement? I mean seriously now. At first I thought they were just being funny and actually meant for you to just not die for 60 seconds, because how could the game be able to track whether or not you’re purposely “camping” an area. But no, they literally don’t want you to play at all. WTF?
It infuriates me that they created this Achievement. Were they running out of ideas or something? Since yesterday, how many teams have lost due to being down a player because that player was trying to get the camping Achievement?
For everyone that was able to get the Achievement: in case it can only be unlocked in certain ways, so that the rest of us don’t have to waste our and other players’ time, can you reply with where you got it? I’ve tried in different maps, different gametypes, and different playlists, and have been unsuccessful.

There is no requirement other than it be done it matchmaking. Had a match that was a perfect opportunity to get it, BTIS on Longbow, 6v2 in our favor from the start. No point in chasing down those poor guys, so why not get an achievement, without having to throw the match?
