By far the easiest achievement in Halo 4…WRONG it’s glitched as hell or I’m not doing it right.

Disruption: In matchmaking, effectively camp one location without dying for a full 60 seconds

I tried about 8 or 9 time today to get it still don’t have it.

Played a game of King of the Hill On Vertigo went to a place on the map where no one would think of looking stayed their the whole match. I did kill 4 people that I saw. Still didn’t get it.

Played Flood defended myself while I was camping.
Round one: 1:05
Round two: 1:15
Round Three: 1:09
Still Didn’t get it.

Played Dominion Lasted 2:56 and within that time I did defend myself about 8 times before I died Still didn’t get it.

So If you have it tell the correct why to get it, because I want to get back to playing the game for real and not having to worry about what should be an easy 40 Game score.

I got it last week by:
Playing BTS red team on Ragnarok.
I grabbed the sniper, jumped up onto the sniper rocks on the left side next to the base.
Got one kill then stood back, not crouching.
Put the controller down and 60 seconds later up popped the blue award notification.
Maybe the system thinks that area is a good camping spot.

I didn’t even know that there was such an achievement but I got it by joining a game of Infinity Slayer on Adrift (I forget, it was the map where a giant Mantis is under construction and you are orbiting the sun) I spawned by the railings and looked out over the Map, I though it was quite amazing flying around the sun or a gas planet, then I wondered what whip type I was on. After some time (longer than a minute, match was almost close to ending) the achievement popped.

Seems like the Camping achievement is only unlockable in slayer type matches even though it doesn’t say that in the description.

Funny thing, I got the achievement because I wanted to grab a snack, so I crouched in the corner and went and got some chips in the kitchen, when I came back I was surprised to see an achievement popped. I thought you could only obtain it on castle maps xD

I tried on btb rag in the base, waited about 80 seconds with controller down, no movement at all on screen from the sticks etc, didn’t get it.

I just hid in one of the Ragnarok bases, 60 seconds later- boop!

You can get the achievement on any Halo 4 map in Matchmaking. I got mine on Longbow.

However, the achievement is glitched. Chances are, you will have to stay absolutely still and wait a lot longer than a single minute. It took me almost 5 minutes of staying still to unlock it, and the achievement only popped right before the end of the game after I had stopped camping.

Think you gotta stay absolutely still and not do anything for it. I went afk thanks to a doorbell and came back to realize it had popped up. Best part was I was just playing Btb on Longbow for it. Hid behind the building on red teams spawn and all was good.

I put my controller down intentionally for the achievement, and grabbed a Mt. Dew. I noted the time I stood there, and it was for about 1:09. I assume this was because it takes a little to register. All in all, easy achievement.
Now to get ‘Defend this House’.

Infinity slayer or swat only. Don’t move. At all. Wait one minute. Boom!

I took everyone advise on how to get it still don’t have it.
I’m just going to give up on what should be an easy achievement

worked perfectly fine for me. Stayed on the Same spot behind that traincart/whatever on Vertigo for 'bout 60 secs and I got it on first try.
