The only people whining about the pistols are the filthy casuals who can’t actually use them…no one ever wants AR starts. You casuals ruined Halo Reach and Halo 4 because they made it a tad easy for ya. Well guess what this game takes skill…put on your big boy pants casuals, learn to aim and adapt or leave. I remember you saying the same us competitive players during the Time of Reach and 4. Well guess what casuals…it’s time to learn your place.

I am trying to use the Pistol in halo 5 because hardly used it in halo 3 and 4 but the pistol in halo 5 is good!

I actually had to bump my sens down to 2 for the first couple of hours because I was having a hell of a time landing my shots with anything. Finally starting to get used to it now lol

this pistol is perfect. it’s actually useful instead of being the weapon I drop for literally anything else in all the other halos.

I think the starting weapons are a fantastic choice and creates a bit more weapon diversity in the matches

The pistol in H5 is perfect.

I haven’t been disappointed with the pistol thus far. It’s served me well considering I can’t seem to kill jack all with the AR (ahh learning curve, hello again old friend) and now that I have the BR unlocked, the AR can sit in my closet collecting dust for all I care.

People just need to play the game, learn and adapt. No game is going to be exactly like another.
It’s called learning. You get better at something the more you do it.

I never miss with any gun, I always go for body shots with the rocket launcher, I never miss. I always quadshot headshot people in Halo 2 every time. No modded controller. Good luck strafing out of my needler fire bro. I stick people with frags too. I will cross map you with Halo 2s SMG and even if you have a BR I will out gun you every time. I could beat anyone on Earth with a Halo 1 magnum even if I was forced to use the Halo 3 magnum. I was four shotting kids with DMR in Halo CE from the future

I gave 343 a lot of -Yoink- but damn they delivered on this one! This game to me is the Halo 2 of the Xbox one. Smooth as hell just feels right. I just find it hilarious people are whining about pistols. This is what halo has needed for awhile because it caters to not only people who like the AR but also people who like precision weapons. So why complain when it balances two parties unless you normally just run around and spray with the AR lol.
