Pistol is miserable to use on M&K

Primarily a M&K user here, and I really just hate using the Sidekick on M&K. I’m a low Onyx player and going up against someone on controller is just terribly obvious in terms of disparity. There is almost no way to win. Controller player with the pistol wins every time.

And yes, I’ve tried with controller, and it is way easier. Why does this weapon exist? Even the BR doesn’t feel this bad for crossplay.

Weird, I absolutely love using the Side Kick with KBM set up. It’s the other two pistols I don’t like using.

What about the Battle Rifle?

I find it it to be kinda trash and I play with a controller, but a lot of people seem to think it’s fine, it might just be something that will take some getting used to.

Yep, I feel way disadvantaged on social against MnK cause the pistol has garbage aim assist and aim controls on stick. It’s impossible to track someone after a certain distance.

That’s what happens when you get rid of the Halo 5 Magnum which HAD PERFECT PACING

If you are going to play on keyboard and mouse, you must get used to the idea that you will have to train your mechanical-skills for at least 60 minutes a day.

In controller you can go to play games without rest because you only need to increase your “gamesense” the aim-assist gives you mechanicals, but in kb / Mouse it’s another world, if you don’t train 45-90 minutes a day you won’t be able to kill anything

That’s why we play with crossplay off.

for real. halo 5’s magnum needing 6 shots to kill instead of 5 would be perfect for infinite.

so difficult to land perfects using a spamcannon with bloom. might as well just have 2 ARs.

I’ve never been a very good user of the halo pistols, though somehow i can use the BR very well.

I enjoy the BR just fine, similar to older titles. But I’ve always been a bigger fan of starting loadouts, not BR starts. But in this game I dread the feeling of inconsistency with the Sidekick so much I prefer the BR starts.
