Well, i finally finally finally hit SR61, and i picked pioneer so that i could rank up a little faster, now, when i picked it i wasnt hoping for double xp, i wasnt even hoping for 150% xp. I was honestly hoping for about 133%.

The most xp you can get in a game is 2981, and then, after using pioneer the entire game i was literally hoping for maybe 1000 more credits, at least, least, least, or 800, 900, but you get a whopping 500. Thats about 16% of a boost. 16%??? ARE YOU KIDDING ME??? What a waste of time.

For all of you that thought this would be a good specialization, dont bother I would way have rather picked rogue or tracker. i was honestly hoping for at least 1k for those games where you do astounding. but seriously, 550 for games like 48-9 that’s ridiculous. So. Stupid.

It was never going to be as high as a 150% increase.

I thought it would be as low as 110%, but 500 XP extra each match is quite good.

i can see the frustation, but honestly you shouldnt have had such high expectations. and 16% adds up. a lot of people would rather have 16% extra EXP than not have any extra.

Yup. i don’t know how Piooner would work at Spartan Ops, but 500xp is quite alot.

Yeah,Pioneer is good only if you’re going for the highest rank possible.It does make a difference when you count 100-200 games,but it’s not worth it if you are planning to stop at your second or third specialization.

16% is actually very good. Expecially over the long run. I’m a rank and a half from obtaining that armor mod. I’m also glad that it doesn’t take up a slot that I care for as much.

Your upset because you got a tiny xp boost and not a massive one like you expect, go play cod if you want mass amounts of xp I heard double xp is on at the moment you might get what you want, a load of xp, quick ranking up and spoiled experience, oh what am I saying, cod is always a ruined experience, same game every year rubbish

it’s probably because i already knew that pioneer would only give you 16% boost, but i could seriously care less about this XD

I just dinged 77, and that pioneer fast track mod has helped out alot. Yes it is only 400-600 xp per patch, depending on how well you do, but overall thats great. Think about it. Without it, you get like 2400-2700 xp per match, adding on another 400-600 xp is quite a bit, and it does add up. I’m not taking it off until im 130 =P
Its good, its balanced, and its not manditory. Just fine the way it is. =D

I played Cod for years and compared to Halo, it’s harder o rank up. So, if the Op wants a challenge game and fun as well, Halo 4 is better i nthis category.

I was also told it was only 500xp from my friends. I thought it was a little weak at first, but trust me that 500xp will build up after games.
