Ping Times 20 then 110 then 80 ms - Pick a Server, will Ya!

Can you please add in Manual Server / Data Center Selection and stick to it? I really do not care if I have to wait 1 minute for a BTB or “QuickPlay” match. I’d much rather have a low ping (i…e <40 ms BTB < 25 ms QuickPlay) match than 110+ ms ping times and lag.

My connection is not the issue, it’s your code’s “Definition” of what Local means. To me it means the nearest Data Center and for me in Alberta Canada that is NW US (Seattle( - not South Eastern USA.

We could do it by editing a config file. Then they locked people out of matchmaking for doing it because the game needs you queuing with people half-way around the globe to keep the queue times down. Thus you have why every other game is against, in my case, Americans, at 120 ping.

110ms isn’t even bad. Try playing with 500+

Rural internet is fun :expressionless:

None of us should have to play on anything above 50, but here we are…

I’m not rural though. I’m in a City with 1.3 million people and on major data transfer routes. When I play Halo 5 / MCC (which allow me to pick me server), it’s < 40 ms ping times.

Facts! I live in a big city. Every other shooter I play I get good ping except infinite.

Hop on match a team of 4 with all randoms on my team and 90 ping and I wanna break something the way the game plays out
