It’s insane how Pineapple cosmetics are more expensive digitally than the actual food. The game is hogtied from the Free to play model, and 343 have nothing but themselves to blame for tanking their own franchise, and suffocating their own population with gradual tiny drip fed content.

If nobody buys it, it becomes cheaper. Yay.

These Pineapples don’t go bad though lol.
I could see this being the price of an independent artist though with similar skill sets though. But one that’s also being paid by a cooperation I would say this is a little much.
But in the long run, it’s not my place to tell them what to do with their business. If you want to see change, you best hope people don’t start forking out money for these cosmetics enough to warrant them reconsidering their business model, maybe scale it back down a tad.
Like when is anybody even gonna see that cosmetic in-game anyway? When do you ever stop to look at grenades? Most of the time I barely even see the cosmetics the enemy is wearing due to the outlines and shields flaring up from damage let alone the. And $10 is a bit much like OP said, that’s like 2 actual tangible real pineapples…
Maybe if it had an effect on frag grenades they actually threw it’d make more sense.
