Pilot Murphey in Spartan Ops, Future roles?

I have a feeling they are building him up to possibly play a role in the future canon, maybe even a SGM Johnson role (obviously not as hardcore as Johnson, but still). What do you guys think? We’ve seen him do some impressive stuff the past few episodes. And we’ve never seen a pilot referenced this much.

It would be interesting to see some human character development outside of spartans and captains

What about Foehammer?

I’m down with that honestly, along with seeing more of Miller, Roland, Dalton, etc.

I’m pretty sure we can all use more of Roland’s sassy remarks.

She got shot down in the first game.

I know. I was more referring to the fact that he said no other pilot has been mentioned this much.

My bad, been awhile since I’ve played through !

Well first of all, Crimson needs to have more relevance. You spend five chapters doing stuff and barely get mentioned in the episode.

True, but they still have to give us some sort of cinematic experience, and since it cant be us…

I almost cried when we crashed on the Infinity. I thought he had died!

I don’t really feel any attachment to him like I did with Foehammer, but I always crack up when he’s in a mission because all I can picture is George Bush doing barrel rolls with Crimson Team through space. Been too long in the Halo series since we’ve had fun characters in the background like this. Roland’s probably my favorite out of everyone in SpOps though.

Expand him more and give him a face. Make pelicans be the sights of relief they’re supposed to be.
