So I beat par on Sierra 117 and pillar of autumn today but neither counted towards the last 2 challenges I have ie, the forza firefight and from the beginning.
Do they not count?
Am I the only one that doesn’t get avatars, achiements or challenge unlocks frequently on MCC?

I don’t have time to play them multiple times for them to arbitrarily unlock at their own discretion.
This sounds unusual. They should count.
If you have a 0-multiplier skull toggled while playing, such as the Bandana Skull, achievements and challenges will be disabled. If that’s not the case though, and this keeps happening, I would suggest sending a bug-report ticket on the Support site.
No skulls on. It was very annoying
I’m pretty sure the “from the beginning” challenge is applied to just halo ce and reach. Each week, there’s two challenges that are tied to two specific halo games, this week being ce and reach. It might be that.
It could also be that you were playing on Easy difficulty. I know that won’t count towards it
From the Beginning requires you to play a level from Halo CE or Halo Reach. Also has to be on at least Normal level.
I speedrun Pillar of Autumn twice on legendary almost every week to stack up the PvE challenges, it does indeed work.
Nope I was on normal to beat to par time.
Must have bugged out.
Did you have the time or the score on? Sometimes the game bugs out if you don’t have one of those one, weirdly enough.
Huh, thats strange. Had them on cause I was trying to get challenges involving both.
Think I’m just a victim of an odd bug.
