This might be for threads in general, but I think it will be useful to post pictures in the threads at least in my spartan company. Right now I have to go to a third party site like Facebook or dropbox and all my members have to click on the link, join the group, and access the image. This creates such a large gap in the company of time and accessibility that it’s just not effective how it is.
I understand you don’t want people posting their obnoxious gif’s and useless pics, but I spent hours creating an excel document for my company to check their stats on one sheet as a group, and it’s very hard to access, even as a simple image.
Why not sure something like imgur then? Very quick site for uploading and sharing images. Or gyazo which is good for quickly sharing screenshots. Images would honestly just get abused too much if the community were given the option

The problem again with a third party site is:
- Removing the players from Waypoint
- Added time and effort = less people participating
- Separates people from their gamertags and causes confusion
- Hard to follow comments on a different site
I get that it will make more work for moderators, but that’s like saying we shouldn’t have guns in Halo because people can betray you.
Anyways, I doubt it would ever happen, but just my opinion. You guys lose a lot of activity and population to those sites because of restrictions like this (though they are purposeful, I get it).

Side note, I’m using google “sheets” because it lets me import my excel spreadsheet and share it with others. It provides me a way to edit it, but not others and lets others comment. It’s still unfortunate though because when someone comments on it, you won’t know who they are and you still have to have a gmail account I believe.
The title of this Fred is “picture?”
so im Going to say something about a picture
if you click on “FEEDBACK” there is a picture of a room with computer screens and on a couple of them it looks like someone with Microsoft paint has put blue on the screen have a look

Not at all the same lol. Frankly, I have more than enough to keep me busy on here. I really don’t need/want to have to look at all the crap people would post. People would make phallic emblems out of preset options in Halo, they sure as hell would post inappropriate images here. We already have to check videos/links people post. People having the ability to flat out post that stuff in threads is a huge no in my book.

And yet, there’s still plenty of people that are posting and hanging out and still plenty of work for us to do.

snickerdoodle (awsomest gamer tag EVER! and my favorite cookie too) I hate to agree with you as I too would like to post picure from my upcoming LAN party. But one just has to hop over to Facebook or Snapchat to see an over whelming number of pics that Most people would not care to look at while searching the Halo Forum. So even though right now it’s an inconvenience I appreciate not seeing phallic pics while chatting with fellow gamers.
