I think that there should be, it would give the game that halo 3 feel which I’m assuming is what fans of legendary slayer are after. Not all the AAs match up with halo three equipment, but we can fudge it a bit. Rengeneration field is obviously a regen field, hardlights for bubble shields, jetpacks where grav lifts use to be, camo for radar scrambler, etc. So… Yea.
No.
Keep it simple, none of the ‘AA’ stuff.
No thanks, I am really enjoying the playlist without them. There are in the other playlists enough.
I don’t even think there needs to be precision weapon starts. I know I am in the minority on that one.
An idea that has been brought up many times before, but almost always shot down. Armor Abilities are far too different from equipment to use them as such. But that’s not to say its a bad idea. I personally don’t think it would work.
But…but… All the agl pros use AAs when they play
> But…but… All the agl pros use AAs when they play
And what’s your point then?
AA’s are dull and there are enough playlists where you can play with your silly AA’s

The only reason they are used is to attract the casuals that love their AA’s. Just like -Yoink- map are used (ie. adrift and abandon) instead of 90% forge maps. They are sacrificing competitiveness in the hopes that new competitive players find the move from infinity to throwdown easier. Its also why they have the weapons markers as well.
They didnt have to do that back in the days of h2-3 because everyone played halo. Not this watered down, gimmicky crap that is IS.

…I like infinity slayer… Grumble grumble
Just gonna throw this out there. Would anyone object to AA pickups if they were single use? I never had a problem with equipment in H3, mainly because once you used them they were gone. Multiple use equipment would have sickened me.
worst idea ever dude! keep halo AA free!! if they ever implement them into this playlist than i’m going to buy an airplane ticket to wherever you live and hunt you down for suggesting it!
(this is the only playlist lucky enough to go without AA’s, if you want you can play in all the 30 other playlist that are poisened with them)
NO. Legendary Slayer is where Halo 4 players go when they DON’T want to see AAs.

Exactly. The reason why a lot of people think some AAs like Jet Pack and Thruster Pack are overpowered is because they can be used multiple times at will. For example, if Active Camo were made a powerup again, all of its balance and camping issues would go away. Same thing with Jet Pack.
AAs can be set with recharge disabled in Customs. I wouldnt mind them if Legendary implemented AAs this way.
You shut that dirty mouth. AA’s ate the Halo series alive. Leave my 1k population playlist alone.

It would not give the game a Halo 3 feel at all. AA’s do not belong in a classic playlist.

So play it and enjoy the use of AA’s. There is absolutely no need for them to be put into Legendary Slayer. They’re in just about every single other playlist. God forbid we a team slayer playlist without them.
I would be ok with it if Recharge was disabled. I can see where unlimited AA’s can cause a problem. Power ups need to be in as well.
No, it will not work
I like AA’s but they don’t work like pickups.
The MLG playlist in Reach proves that.
Its because they can be use unlimited time.

Yes a solution! Perfect! How can anyone argue with this

Why not? Regen Field would be great, Camo may work and Thruster Pack isn’t OP at all
