I don’t know if this would help anyone else, however if I could choose what color my team and the other team are I think it would be a convenience. If nothing else from my perspective/screen only.
I’ve noticed that when I am Blue team and the opponent is Red my eyes work better. Also switching colors messes me up every once in a while the first few minutes of each match.
I know this would be something new compared to the old days and now, however imagine the opposite team always red from your point of view every match instead of blue and red every other.
