Ok guys, I am sure this video has been posted but there is some info here that I believe is very crutial. Lead Multiplayer Designer Kevin Franklin said a few thing I found very interesting.
#1 You can no longer pick up grenades off of dead enemies by default. You must use a tatical package (Resupply) to pick grenades now. What???
#2 AC still jams enemies radar and has fairly long duration.
#3 Regen pushes back enemies. Acts as a barrier??
How many of you knew of this??
I think not being able to pick up grenades from dead enemies by default is bad. It should be that with the (Resupply Tatical Package) you should get a dropped grenade with every enemy kill.
First off, it is to stop the constant nade spamming problem from Reach. You can pick up map nades without it. But one time, I had seven grenades go flying by me on Reach within one second. The WHOLE team!
And regen does not push enemies back. The Solace gameplay debunks this.
I think when he says the regen field pushes enemies back, it’s when you activate it so that when the bubble grows it pushes them away but then they can enter once it’s fully deployed.

According to the video above you CANNOT pick grenades off dead enemies. Sure you can still pick up grenades, but not if you just killed someone with a shotgun and tried to take their grenades. You now need the (Resupply Tatical Package) for that.
He also stated that when activated Regen knock backs enemies.

This has been known since Tactical Packages were announced. I’m fine with it, there are plenty of grenades around the map, this just gets rid of the excess.
Let me rephrase. You can pick up map nades without it, yes, but not dead man nades. Nade spamming was a huge problem in Reach and Halo 4 doesn’t need problems.
Regen field may push people back initially, yes, but after it fully extends the Gameplay shows that this is not the case. I imagine it pushes them back at first to give the user a healing chance. After that, though, enemies can charge through and rush the poor sap.

Kinda like the opposite of armor lock sorta, like with AA you push people coming out/deactivating it, with the Regen you push them while activating.
The resupply package and not being able to pick up grenades off of enemies are there to help prevent grenade spamming. It’ll force all the people that mash the LT in every engagement to actually shoot for once.
As for the Regen it’s my understanding is that the push back is only initially and once it’s fully deployed enemies can enter. At any part of the process though players are able to shoot into it.
Listen, picking up grenades is tough business, its not all just bending over and grabbing an object. You need to SPECIALIZE in that field.
Jokes aside, it’s nice to know that Master Chief can kill hundreds of thousands of enemies, carry a bomb from one spaceship to another, and land on a planet without a drop pod, but can’t manage to LIFT A GRENADE OFF THE GROUND.
The grenade thing imo is a good thing. Makes a grenade kill harder; as you have to be conservative and not waste em. You can still pick up map grenades. The regen “barrier” I think only works at the initial time it was deployed

What? In campaign you are still able to pick up nades from dead enemies. It’s only a multiplayer exclusive feature so that it reduces nade spamming from mindless players on live.
You can still pick up grenades when the Infinity spawns them on the map. All this does is prevent you from picking up grenades off dead players. It will probably reduce spamming or at least that’s the intent.
If you love to spam grenades, you can use the Resupply Tac Package w/ the Explosives Support Upgrade to cater to that play-style. You can still pick up grenade off dead players while having your grenades have a bigger blast radius and receive less damage from grenades.
You can opt to remove Resupply in favor of using the Grenadier Tactical Package to bring in an extra grenade but now you can’t pick them off dead players. So it comes down to either spawning with more nades or being able to them off dead players. Explosives Support Upgrade complement either one Tactical Package well.
Of course, that means you can’t use things Firepower, Dexterity, Ammo, Mobility etc. If you are a terrible grenade thrower, then you won’t benefit much from this combo.

Master Chief doesn’t use Tactical Packages/Support Upgrades. He can still pick up grenades off dead enemies. You have no proof he is unable to do this in Campaign.
Only the Spartan IVs have to do this because of resupply. Stop over-exaggerating.
