Pick One Song To Return in Halo 4

If you could choose only one, which would would you like to see make a return? I appreciate a fresh new soundtrack and musical style for Halo 4, but it would be great if they could feature one son from the older games(Preferably the original trilogy), as a nod to the past soundtracks and amazing work by Marty.

It doesn’t even have to be a full song, it could be just one specific point in it that you find special. Similar to how Halo: Reach featured a very short nod to Halo 3(0:55).

For me: Halo 3 - Luck(2:07-2:28)

That specific part has the Chief written all over it. It would be appropriate for it to briefly return in Halo 4 at some point, just to close the gap between the original trilogy and the new one. I still feel like I need some closure.

Going off the assumption that the usual Mjolnir Mix is in there in some form, I would say Never Forget from Halo 3, I almost cry every time I hear that song.

That’s my personal favorite from Halo 2. It’s so different and soothing, love it.

Man! I forgot that was in Halo 2! That was the first time I heard it, when I first put the game in and was changing the color on my spartan (When I didn’t pay attention to Halo news) and I was like “What the -Yoink!- elites!?!” I was really young when I played Halo CE (seriously like 6 or something!) so I don’t remember it, but I remember Halo 2! I thought it was just in Halo 3 as Never Forget, you sir just sparked my memory, and I thank you.

Seeing Buck drop in as a Spartan IV, maybe, with his squad who could or could not also be Spartan IVs and kick Promethean -Yoink- with that music rocking the background would be pure epic.

The first half of Keep What You Steal from Halo 3. I may be ever-so-slightly biased as I flat-out love that cutscene, but I love listening to this.

343 better make it happen, eventually. Buck is the closest thing to a Spartan, it would be ideal to see him suit up in Mjolnir armor.

The first minute of that would be my choice, it was also used in the Legendary Ending, so it would make a good transition between Halo 3 and Halo 4.
