So anybody see that false gaming website that claims HW2 wont have Physical Copies?

So it isn’t a troll? Great, just great… at least we’re getting it still on the Xbox One.
It’s still on pc, just digital only except in EU, so either order from overseas or ¯_(ツ)_/¯
Eh I’ll just get the Xbox One version, would have been nice to have the case, I know cases for PC games have been dying in the last 10 years. But I was shocked this new is just now spreading on Social Media.
That was the most poorly written article ever. They didn’t clarify that it’s only affecting the PC until about halfway through the article. I was three minutes from calling Gamestop in a panic.
The funny thing is all of these PC gaming sites are reporting this over a week after it was announced.
Apparently they just read each other’s news feed instead of actually following the games they cover…

To be fair, the announcement wasn’t made in any actual visible manner. The only reason I know of this was because my physical copy pre-order got canceled on me without warning, and then, a week later, Ske7ch made a post on these forums that almost went unnoticed. If they really cared to let people know, they would have made a real announcement.
edit: misread that, thought he said PC gaming was dying not just PC gaming cases. Yeah retail boxes have been on the way out. PC gaming itself is doing great.
Given it was initially expected that there would be no physical release for PC at all, I don’t like complaining about an attempt to do so to please some fans… but how often does a major company actually announce something then cancel it just 3 weeks later on a forum post. I’d like to know what actually happened. As is what was seemed to be a bonus ended up annoying/confusing a lot of people.

They also said HW2 got rid of resource managing, this is why these type of News websites shouldn’t exist.
