I have not received an email or any message on this site regarding a flight invite, but just noticed a message dated this past Wednesday from “Xbox” on the app which reads:
“Thanks for being a Halo Insider! We’re giving you an opportunity to play Halo Infinite this weekend. You can pre-load the Halo Infinite multiplayer technical preview today by installing the Xbox Insider Hub app and joining the “Halo Infinite - Insider” program (if you haven’t already). Multiplayer play sessions start this Friday, October 1. To learn more and begin downloading, select below on console.”
Underneath the message is a “Learn More” button. when I click that button, I get this:
Are you sure you want to go to xbox-insider2://FlightDetailsPage/FLT_PINK_PIRATES_20200622? This will open in a new app.
Even with the Xbox app installed I was unable to follow this link.I just installed Xbox insider hub, and that app responds to the link, but none of the announcements correspond to the message I received. There is nothing I see that allows me to accept this “flight invite” anywhere on the app after following the Learn More button link. Any thoughts?

For playing on Steam you need a buddy/friend code in order to play. If you don’t have one and would like to play you can drop me a DM

Yeah as he said it’s legit. Follow his instructions. Unfortunately you might have been invited to the first flight but never got an email. Happened to me too. I just manually tried to install without an invite and it worked.
