> I made a webcomic using the Halo 3 game-engine. I asked if this was acceptable before, but nobody gave me a decent answer. And webcomics aren’t specified in this forum’s rules, so I can hardly be blamed if this is in the wrong place.
It’s about a small cast of characters dropped in the wilderness with weapons. If more than one person is alive after 10 days, they all die. If one person is still alive, that person gets to go home. (Basically, it’s Battle Royale in space).
There will be 10 “issues”. I’m up to 7 right now. There’s a lot of naughty words, and some explicit violence, so it’s definitely NOT an “all-ages” sort of thing. But I think considering it’s from an M-rated game, that shouldn’t come as a surprise.
> Wow, looks amazing.
> I love the names you gave them too.
All of them were taken from thumbing through the credits of Halo 2’s instruction manual. So all of the characters are named after people who’ve worked on the Halo series at some point.
In fact, “Conrad” was originally going to be named “O’Connor”.
I’m still deciding whether I should split up the last official chapter and the Epilogue, because they’re both very long. Wouldn’t want to exhaust anyone reading.
Again, warning for naughty language(from the most vile and reprehensible character I’ve ever written). Viewer discretion advised and all that.
Had to chop the finale in half. The last issue will be up around April or May, if all goes according to plan.
If you’d like to catch up, you can check out the archive, or even go all the way back to the start. Or you could not. Maybe you’ve got more important stuff to do, I don’t know.
You sure did put a lot of work into this comic series. I had a look at the first few pages and will checkout more when I have time. Nice work and one suggestion would be to have the page navigation controls at the top as well as the bottom so you don’t have to scroll so much.
Also you’re perfectly correct in posting your comics here in the community creation thread. Nice to see you use the MS licensing terms correctly too.

Unfortunately, I’m pretty daft when it comes to coding and website layouts and the like. I do agree that navigation controls should be at the top and bottom for webcomics. If it’s any consolation, you can just click on any page(the actual image in the centre of the screen) to advance to the next one.
That’s it. 104 pages, split by an epilogue. All in all, the series clocks in at 600(!) pages total. Any page/chapter can be accessed from the Archives, or you can start all way back at the beginning.
