Phantom /spirit destruction

Should they add the ability to destroy the phantoms and spirits in wzff? Or at least destroy the turrets

If you mean those annoying -Yoink- Elite gunner turrets, then yes please! The Plasma Bolts aren’t that dangerous, you could easily avoid them if you pay attention… but being killed within a second of a side turret, no chance to retaliate (since their freakin’ invincible) and being forced to cower while the Phantom is present? Yeeeeaaah, make them destroyable pls.

They -Yoinking!- should, I don’t know why the turrets in Firefight are indestructible and I don’t understand why the Phantoms and Spirits can’t be destroyed.

Absolutely. The turrets and the gunners being invincible breaks a big part of the game mode to me. The ships themselves being indestructible is understandable in Firefight, though. It’d be nice to be able to blow them up with enough firepower, but it’s not as damaging to the gameplay as super-powered, invincible turrets and side-gunners that have no counter but cowering under cover until they fly away.

Hell yes. Currently our only way of retaliation is the banshee flip method to kill the crew inside before they deploy. For those who don’t know what I’m talking about its where you flip a banshee under a phantom or spirit until the phantom or spirit is upside down, it kills anything inside except the invincible turret users.

Yes, I fully agree. The turrets and gunners should be destructible in WZFF, or at least heavily nerfed. Here’s a funny story, one time on Escape from ARC, a phantom gunner singlehandedly caused my ultra wraith to go from 100% to zero health. I was less than happy

Actually not everybody knows the first part. I’ve played with people who played in FF and didn’t know due to it barely being the objective. Even so you didn’t specify that they could be destroyed so someone was bound to say they could as I did. And as to your post, it said FF, what about regular WZ? On Battle of Notcus they are the biggest pain in this -Yoink-.

Agreed. They dont do much dmg but it lights up the screen and causes to much chaos. The Gunners should be susceptible to dmg. The fact they aren’t to me is unacceptable and unfair.

But the explosion effect must be like Halo 3. Much better than Halo 5’s where it just "puffs"in a “puff!”

That has got to be one of the most annoying parts off that mode. Having to hide every time one comes in its ridiculous. They have obliterated plenty of vehicles of mine because I can’t shoot back at them.

i know your pain, i’ve been in that situation before.
but i have found a way to destroy non-objective based phantoms.

Yes in WZ they should be free game
