Just a fun idea that popped into my head today. I could care less if it gets implemented or not; just thought it’d be fun to hear other’s input on it.

Phantom as a level 7 req. The person who spawns the phantom is the only one who can fly it, and this player cannot exit the phantom (phantom must be destroyed for player to exit). Inability to exit would create a risk/reward scenario for players considering spawning the phantom. The phantom is a VERY high health vehicle, however in turn it is extremely slow moving and vulnerable, since it is in the air. In addition, the phantom is very large so the places you can fly it are limited. Phantom can hold a total of 10 people INCLUDING the driver. Posistions as follows:
Driver
Main gunner (cockpit position) fires the plasma cannon on the front of the phantom. This turret cannot overheat. Additionally, any EMP’s that hit the vehicle ONLY disable this turret. A vehicle of this size and req value should not be susceptible to a simple emp-hijack, however it SHOULD be able to have it’s turret disabled.
2 Side gunners: Each fires one of the mounted plasma turrets. These turrets can overheat.
6 passengers. Passengers have the ability to exit at any point, just the same as a passenger in a warthog. However, they are unable to shoot, throw grenades, or really do anything whilst in the vehicle. When exiting, passengers have the ability to pick which side to exit out of the phantom. This could be achieved by an onscreen prompt showing which button exits which side; I.E while in the phantom the Y-Button is reassigned to exit the left side, and the X-Button exits the right.
This would open up a whole new kind of strategy for warzone, and further increase the depth of combat. You would have the ability to fly your phantom near or over bases such as spire, garage, monument, etc. and drop your spartans right into the heat of battle while also providing them with cover from turrets.
In addition to the normal phantom, Sword/ultra phantoms could be added. However, I don’t know how efficient they would be since they would require level 8 or 9 reqs assuming the normal phantom requires level 7. Perhaps this would be better if the normal required 6, the sword required 7, and the ultra required 8.
Sword would have increased armor and health.
Ultra would have a slowly regenerating boost capability similar to a wraith. The main turret would either fire faster, or potentially could shoot in bursts, or fire plasma that splinters on contact similar to a wraith ultra. This one would also have increased armor/health.
