Phantom in Halo 5 trailer

So I saw this when I first watched the trailer, but I’ve not seen it since so I thought I’d post it, Here is the spot where they are in the trailer, at the bottom right:

Here are screen shots of them:

Pretty cool find! I had not noticed this.
It’s awesome that 343i are putting small moving details into the sky boxes of the multiplayer maps! :3

They look like fish

Indeed a nice find.

I suspect it’s the Midship-like map.

Well, it’s not really anything new to be honest. Bungie had moving details in Halo 3 as well, can’t remember Halo 2.

One particular map I remember well was the Flood infested one, there were sentinels flying overhead now and then. You could destroy them with snipers and whatnot.

Then there were stuff in Halo: Reach and of course in Halo 4.

Ah, well my line work really works wonders

Yeah, I remember those sentinels. I always did some target practice on them!

Yeah, Beam Rifle was almost the most fun trying to get as many in a row as possible.

I think Guardian had some brids as well that could be shot down.

Was a little let down when the occasional Hornet on Skyline couldn’t be destroyed.

Last resort on Halo 3 had shootable seagulls

Nice, very fine discovery indeed.

Just to point out though, you said bottom left, when its in fact the bottom right.

Looks more like the tail end of a Covenant Corvette to me.

EDIT: Nope, they were Phantom :stuck_out_tongue:

reads post, looks down in disappointment in my self ho-ly-shiiiiittttt… -Yoink!- it I should not be making that mistake at this stage of my life

Look at the trailer I linked, you can clearly see two Phantoms flying next to each other on the bottom RIGHT(Thanks Warmer)of the screen

That was a damn good spot… Anyway, yeah, it’s not anything new to see animated skyboxes, but it’s always cool. Remember that DLC map in Halo 4 with the Corvette attacking a city in the background? That was EPIC. If you could play Spartans vs Elites on that, it would be incredible.

That particular map, Isolation, also became more and more Flood-infected as the matches progressed.
