I have recently managed to get a Phantom Destroyed medal in Mythic Warzone Firefight. For anyone interested to obtain this hidden medal, you do only need to destroy a none boss Phantom in Warzone Firefight.
Here is a screenshot as evidence for this incredible feat.

For anyone who isn’t aware why this medal is so special. It’s in the list of hidden medals for Halo 5 that cannot be seen in Halo Waypoint medals list. Few other medals that are included on this list is “Ballassassination”, “Hunter Kill” and “Hunter Assist” medal. To get a full list of all medals, you do only need to look at this picture.

I’m curious to know if this would appear on your service record after obtaining it?

No, it won’t be shown as the medal is hidden. If you look at the screenshot, there exist quite few medals that are hidden and some of these medals can easily be obtained in matchmaking like Hunter Kill and Hunter Assist. If I remember correctly, Hammer Kill is another medal that won’t be shown.
Gotcha - that makes sense.
Also - killing a non-boss Phantom in Firefight?
I didn’t know that was a thing…

I didn’t know it either before I got this medal. However, this medal is quite easy to get in the Campaign as the number of destructible Phantoms is far larger.

Totally - I really thought the H5 Phantoms were actually non-destroyable in WZFF.
Do you have the game film? Would be neat to see it.

Here is a video of me destroying the Phantom.

Oh wow, so it looks like you put a couple of bullets into it before the round ended, and then the game did it’s classic ‘destroy all enemies on the battlefield at the end of the round’ thing, and awarded you a kill for the Phantom!
nice, where I can find all the hidden medals? I see the image but I want to know the requeriments

Unfortunately, I don’t know the exact requirements for most of the hidden medals in the game.

Ballsassination isn’t in the hidden medal list (unless it becomes viewable after you achieve it). I have the medal and can view in my service record as well as see if others have earned it.

Thanks for pointing out the that there exist 2 different medals with the same name. In this instance, I referred to the “Ballassassination” medal used in the gamemode Assault, not the version seen in the gamemode Oddball.
It’s located in this picture if you look at the 20th medal in the 9th row of medals. It uses a similar design to the Oddball version but with the Assault medal color pallet and a background icon behind the skull.

Ok, thanks
