Is it actually possible to get phaetons and/or the phaeton certification through gold req packs? As opposed to buying the paid gold req packs?
Yeah, they are gold packs that unlock anything higher then rare.
Just FYI, Gold Packs and “Paid” Gold Packs are the exact same thing.
You can unlock every legendary certification through buying the pack via REQ points or money.
Interesting, alright. I feel like I’ve unlocked hundreds of gold packs by this point, no phaetons yet. Oh well…

They aren’t “common” that’s why. But a gold pack is a gold pack paid for or not. Eventually they will fall!

Unless I got the certification a long time ago and just forgot, but I think I’d have more than 2 phaetons if that were the case…

Well really if you haven’t bought bronzes, you should go and buy a crap ton of them. Go look in your certifications and if you are missing a lot of basic common weapon certifications like shotgun or needler, go back and buy them until you don’t have any more common certifications. Then go and buy silvers to get uncommons that you might be missing (unless you already get 3000 back from your silver packs). Then finally you can finish up the gold packs (6000 back is when you know you are done). It is a little surprising to see someone past 120 who has yet to finish their collection but hopefully this will help you get that done

I don’t get them either but I don’t care that much because I am not a big fan of vehicles.

i play mainly wzff so phaetons and phaeton helios really help on bosses
I don’t need your normal Phaetons, I have my Helios.
The Phaeton Helios was the last one I got. I was about SR 139.
