Before I start, I want to give KUSH3178 credits for the name.
I was thinking, we should have a phaetons variant. We have banshee variants, and many Promethean weapons have variants. So I started thinking. I was playing MCC and looking to change my avatar and saw that you could be the librarian. It hit me. I started thinking about a phaeton centered around the librarian. There is no other Promethean weapon or vehicle named after her so I thought this was good. The phaeton could be blue instead of orange, for starters. Also, the phaeton shots will be blue and will either track well and be just as Powerful as the regular phaeton’s, or track decient(not great) but me more powerful. Now, the “rockets” could be replaced with something like a binary rifle type gun? Maybe like an incineration canon type weapon. 343i would have to tinker with it. It would also be faster and rise up and down faster. Obviously increased armor. If this happened, they should either make this mythic, or the other phaeton ultra rare and the Librarian’s Gift Legendary. What do you think? Feel free to comment suggestions.
If Phaeton variants were made, they would likely not have names like that. It would probably be called the Lifeworker Phaeton instead of the Librarian’s Gift.

who says that it can’t be a weaker version of the phaeton with a lower req level? true it hasn’t been done…at all… but it is still a possibility darn it! a person can dream! lol

I just finished gold packs this past Thursday. The very last on had an emblem, Clippy, and my Phaeton certification. Not even joking.

So, youre suggesting a weaker phaeton that can be taken down easier? The normal one is damn near useless.

maybe less damage but faster acceleration? or two boosts that can be used in rapid succession? i honestly don’t know much about how the phaeton plays since i don’t have the commendation for it. Also freaking two post limit lol.

No. I don’t want any Phaeton variants. Besides, the Phaeton is a legendary req 8, so you can’t get much stronger than that. And also, the Librarian did not do military, that was all the Didact’s job. That is why no weapons or vehicles are named after her, yet some are named after the Didact.
I’d rather call a Phaeton after Endurance or Vanquished, who had a military rank, although, I don’t think it can be better than the regular Phaeton, maybe cosmetic changes and slightly better armor.
whenever i spawn in anything like a mantis, phaeton, wraith, etc, it feels like plastic.
Things need to have more armour like cmon the mantis sucksssssssssssss and also the phaeton sucks
I think it would be cool to add in a extra variant with stronger armor. Every time I spawn one in I get shot down within a minute. As said above the req cost would be tough, but if they just make it tougher it could probably stay at 8.

Phaetons would maybe be moved to level 7 reqs.
