I am rank 135 and not spending real money(I’m cheap) and have lots of mythics but no phaeton is the phaeton meant to be in the last few packs before completion because 1 in 20 games has a teammate or enemy using a phaeton why
Well as a legendary req item but i agree maybe should make it appear more often than it already is. But its still a beast in the right hands

I’m SR 146 but I got the req at 132. I’ve been trying to use my ultra rare random vehicle reqs (+15) to get a pheaton but no luck yet.
I’ve only gotten Phaetons in the random vehicle reqs when I spend them in the game (and they popped on the rare random req)
Yeah, for sure…and make it a bit tougher too.
3 days ago I got another phaeton from a ultra rare random but 2 regular banshees instantly destroyed me:( (first time immediately crashed)

i get mythic items more than I get phaetons
Yes it’s too rare, especially considering the base one is paper. An ultra banshee can destroy the base one easily.
Other than the 3 you get with each cert, and the 2 from the update teaser pack, I’ve only gotten ONE other Phaeton and that was the very first ultra rare random vehicle req I ever called in. Since then, 30+ reqs, all I get is regular Gauss hogs.
Agreed, haven’t gotten in a phaeton in an extremely long time… probably no phaetons in over two-three dozen gold packs (I’ve unlocked everything already)
Yes, they’re hard to get. I’ve been opening crazy amounts of gold packs and finally got one yesterday.
I, too, have yet to get a single one. I really hope they either add more variants to make them appear more, or increase the likelihood of them coming out in gold packs, but I’d really love for them to do both

Over the weekend I tried seeing how much RP it took me to get a Phaeton. After 200K I was about to give up. That’s 50 gold packs plus how ever many extra I got by selling the junk. After all that I had 1 drop 2 packs in a row. Haven’t seen a Helios since I go the cert though. I don’t see this being reasonable for a casual player
I’m SR114, and I’ve never had a phaeton or phaeton Helios (no certs, one time use reqs or even getting it from rare/ultra rare random vehicles). I have every Gauss hog and I’m one away from having the full set of rocket hogs. I feel like they did reduce the chances of getting phaetons beyond just being legendary. As if it wasn’t bad enough that there are more variants of everything that you don’t really care about.
Yes its is way too rare. You have to burn through a few just to learn how to use it in warzone but it does pay off in kills once you get the hang of it. Would be nice if you could get one every couple of gold packs. I know it’s legendary but I can get all others way more often.
Counting the 3 from certs (so, 6), plus the two free Helios from the sample pack, I’ve probably owned a total of 22 Phaetons (and my first came from an ultra rare random card). I currently only have around 5 in stock (1 Helios and 4 normal).
It is indeed exceedingly rare, but as other posters have mentioned, the Phaeton (and the Helios in particular) is enormously destructive in the righy hands. The best I’ve managed with it is to go on a 14-player killing spree…but I’ve seen other, better pilots absolutely dominate with it. So, I suppose it should be super rare.
That being said, I wouldn’t shed a tear if they up’d the chances of it dropping in Gold Packs lol 
Yes it is suppose be hard to get if you dont have the cert. Phaeton is the last vehicle i got and is for a lot of people from what i hear. I a recent update they made the packs have better items and now ever 5 gold packs will have one of the two phaetons in it. So I have about 50 of them but that is on a account that is almost to lvl 149. So if your expecting a ton you will only be dissapointed . Yes they are beasts in the right hands. I have only used it a few times but yesterday had a game that i had 24 kills with my one phaeton and i really don’t know what im doing with it. Sometimes you will get destroyed if they all go at you tho. Had only 1-2 kills game before that in another phaeton.
