haha video or it didn’t happen.
Not only that but its weak as all hell, a couple people firing on it with dmrs and it’ll be gone in less than 30 seconds. Its overall just not worth the req points or effort, you’re better off spawning in a power weapon.

I’ve only ever hijacked one also, their cool but easy to take out.

Piloting a Phaeton is more intuitive with Bumper Jumper control scheme, because you can control altitude with the two bumper buttons, instead of one bumper and a face button.
I dont know man. Ive had my -Yoink- torn to shreds by one in quite a few matches. They seem to just pop up from behind cover like an Apache and rain down fiery death.
Using Phaeton for the fiirst time i managed to die without getting a single kill…don t use it in Battle of Noctus.

I got the the perm. reqs. for the Phaeton. Its way to weak. You get destroyed way to easy. They need to buf the armor or the movement.
I got the Phaeton certification and have used it three times. It’s very weak in defense. It seems positioning is super important with it. My last go got me 20 something assists and a killing spree. I’m still learning, but I think there is a lot of potential there.
First time I called out a Phaeton was through a random REQ, on Stormbreak, Warden half health!
But I just got the Elite controller, had remapped the heck out of the buttons, and hadn’t played the campaign since, so I did not know how to lower and raise myself reliably. I did manage to lower myself and flew into the tunnel. Phased-jumped into the crates to get stuck… The enemy focused their fire on my and not the Warden. I accidentally hopped out and got assassinated, “they” took the vehicle… But then my team took the Warden.
A got a couple kills along the way… So I took win 
For the way REQs get called out now, the frequency of the vehicle should be more. There’s quite a few weapons that will take it down quicker than it’s worth in a competitive match… GREAT for pwning those you’re already pwning.

No it should not be, every vehicle has a counter, banshees are counters to tanks , tanks are counters to warthogs and mongeese and ghosts, wraiths (if used correctly) can counter Spartans mongeese warthogs and tanks. Phaetons don’t have a counter. It obliterates tanks in a matter of seconds, I 1v1 a wraith ultra and killed it along with some Spartans, and a ghost. Plus it’s a pain to hit. If a Spartan laser is aiming at you then just warp. Also this vehicle is not supposed to take the attention it kills in the shadows picking off wraiths and banshees. Your using it wrong.

Its an arial vehicle though so literally everything counters it. Arial vehicles are self countered by the fact that theyre visible EVERYWHERE
