Every time I play Boneyard BTB it’s always about the team with all vehicles. Boneyard is to confined for the Tank and Banshee. Sign for removal.
PETITIONS WONT GET WHAT YOU WANT.
Just thought Id say that.
The Banshees fine. Removing the tank, or MOVING it to the other part of the map would be nice.

It’s the least we can do. Unless you got a better idea.
Discuss the idea in a normal thread. Or drop a post in the Halo Feedback. 343 actually drops in on every thread she finds and scans the general opinion of people. So they will listen if enough people care.
But to try and make a petition out of it and TELL 343 what to do instead of just giving a suggestion is kind of rude don’t you think? And they don’t need to listen no matter how many people sign if they don’t want to.

I did that as well.
Yeah from experience with my threads I can tell you threads with petition in the title don’t get good results. It’s like it’s a sign saying “flame me here”, I’m guessing your thread will get a better discussion if it doesn’t have petition in the title.
OT: I don’t have a problem with the banshee. But the scorpion is horrible. It is in a very confined space with little escape points. Putting a slow moving ground vehicle in the middle of the map just DOES NOT WORK. The first person to get to it is immediatly boarded. Plus people just grab whatever vehicle’s at their base to get to it. Which is usually the team’s warthog. Honestly Boneyard is a horrid map for anything but Invasion anyway. They had to ignore half of it just to make it work which IMO is a sign of bad map design.

DMR spam the banshee. It’s easy to kill. Tank, you’re just gonna have to find a rocker or lasrer, or just sneak up on it and board
No, they both add something vital to fight over and can trump each other. A precisely placed Scorpion shell can blast a Banshee out of the sky while a swift Banshee can divebomb a Scorpion before that even happens. Besides the fact that they help create the whole big team vibe of the map and playlist. It would not be very epic with just Hogs, Mongeese and Ghosts.
I sign for Boneyard, and further put it that all scorpions and banshees be removed from matchmaking entirely.
We had this idea in Halo 2 and 3 that certain vehicles be kept out of matchmaking because they didn’t fit with the demands that living human targets have. And that worked out pretty well, when Bungie remembered to follow it and I can’t possibly see why it is any less true now that a tank shell or fuel rod simply don’t work well for multiplayer.

Wha-?
The scorpion is in boneyard and boneyard only isn’t it? It was already removed from hemmoroids.

I belive it’s still on Paradiso.

I have no problem with the banshee or scorpion. Just the maps it’s placed on. TBH the vehicles in this game fail anyway. A dmr will rip them to shreds.

Yes, it’s on Paradiso. I believe Paradiso and Boneyard are the only maps in MM with a Scorpion.

Thats the thing once one team has both there’s no hope because from there on everyone else gets the Hog and power weapons and kills you before you can even walk ten feet. Then you team quits, which wouldn’t be so much of a problem on any other map, but with this one there is NO HOPE.

Then rush them first???

Coordinated DMR shots destroy the Banshee. There’s also the Grenade Launcher by offense side and Rockets up on the balcony of the frigate for more Banshee control and also the tank. Hijacking also works well with the tank because of its slow speed combined with the small vehicle space in most areas of Boneyard.

I do firstly. I shouldn’t secondly. Even if I did get it, it’s so stupid that a whole game depends on who gets the tank. Also I know that DMRs can rip banshees to shreads, but it’s kinda hard to do that when you got a tank, rocket, hog, sniper, ghost, and everyone else pounding you into the ground. It’s just way too much. Boneyard will do just fine without the Tank and Banshee in BTB.
> I want a petition to make the other 50% of Boneyard worth playing in.
^This. That other side is long forgotten unless you’re playing Invasion and there’s not really a good reason why. I propose a Boneyard where one team spawns there and the other spawns on the more commonly used side and they charge to each other. It would finally be using the entire map.
> I want a petition to make the other 50% of Boneyard worth playing in.
Good point, I don’t understand why it’s only set on one side of the map.
